I’m Julia, a paper engineer based in Madrid, Spain, passionate about creating vibrant pop-up videos and cards
First steps
I studied graphic design at university, but it wasn’t until years later, during the 2020 pandemic, that I rediscovered my love for pop-ups.
Determined to pursue this passion, I decided to focus in paper engineering. I taught myself new techniques and began building a portfolio of personal projects. By sharing my work on social media and collaborating with friends, I quickly started receiving commissions from publishers and companies.
My work now
Today, I can say I have the coolest job in world. I get to turn my client’s ideas into creative papercraft campaigns and bring the childlike wonder that everyone longs for.
